Filmmakers and drone pilots looking to shoot the next aerial blockbuster can now take their shots to new heights thanks to DJI's Inspire 2. The Inspire 2, specifically designed to capture Hollywood-worthy footage was built to cater to the needs of professional filmmakers and photographers. Currently compatible with both the Zenmuse X4S and X5S camera's, the Inspire 2 is capable of capturing up to 5.2K video in CinemaDNG, AppleProRes, and more with the X5S camera, or even fly up to 80 kph in only 5 seconds, with a maximum speed of up to 94 kph.
The Inspire 2 features a dual battery system with a maximum flight time of up to 27 minutes with the X4S camera. The batteries feature self-heating technology to enable the drone to continue flying with ease even in colder environments. The FlightAutonomy of the drone has also been upgraded to provide both downward and upward facing obstacle avoidance sensors to greatly reduce the risk of potential crashes.
The Inspire 2 features all new intelligent flight modes as well, including Spotlight Pro, which gives users the ability to effortlessly fly and shoot dynamic, creative shots. Finally, with the Inspire 2's upgraded video transmission system, users can now stream video from its onboard FPV camera for increased piloting and camera control.
