With the DJI Air 2S, you will get the best of all worlds: portability and picture clarity. The Air 2S is the ultimate drone for aerial photography on the move, featuring the iconic Sony IMX383 image sensor with a 1-inch CMOS and 20 Megapixel image resolution.

Since the original Mavic Pro, there has been a strong focus on portability, which has resulted in the development of the compact foldable design, which has been carried forward into the consumer drone line-up. The Air 2S has a lightweight aircraft body with foldable arms and propellers, much like the DJI Mavic 2 Pro, Mavic Air 2, and DJI Mini 2.

With the DJI Air 2S, you can capture perfect clarity in a variety of lighting situations. With the improved 1-Inch CMOS camera, the DJI Air 2S can take 5.4K/30fps and 4K/60fps video as well as 20 megapixel images, capturing high definition and natural color tones whether it's sun or storm, sunrise, dusk, daytime or nighttime.

The 1-inch and 20 megapixel combination results in higher pixel size on the sensor than the Mavic Air 2 resulting in incredible low light performance and overall less noise in the captured imagery be it photos or videos.

Better Colour

The DJI Air 2S supports a 10-bit Dlog-M colour profile and can record up to 1 billion colours thanks to the upgraded SoC for image processing. The wide colour gamut ensures authentic, life-like colour reproduction in images and videos getting your images closer to the way your eyes perceive the scene.

Superior Night Shots

With a 2.4μm Pixel size, the DJI Air 2S features superior low light performance so you can capture all the detail of the world even after the sun goes down. The high quality image processing and noise reduction, along with high dynamic range, resolution and the colour accuracy enables the user to capture crisp, vibrant night shots using the Air 2S.

RAW Shooting

Get more flexibility in post-processing with RAW images and the 12.6 stops of dynamic range that the 1-inch sensor provides. With RAW shooting, the camera captures more light data from the scene irrespective of the complexity of lighting conditions. RAW images provide more latitude for editing in post-processing enabling creators to achieve the type of look they prefer for the images.

HDR - High Dynamic Range

Intelligent HDR

In-camera Intelligent HDR captures multiple shots at different exposure levels automatically. These images are then merged by the image processor to generate one final image automatically without any editing by the user. The final result has great detail in highlights, shadows and everywhere in between thus displaying even the most subtle features.

Create stunning short videos that speed up movement of elements on the screen to create striking visuals with the touch of a few buttons. With in-built presets like circle mode, lock mode or waypoint mode, shooting hyperlapse shots has never been easier. Free mode lets the pilot change aircraft attitude, gimbal angle, while shooting hyperlapse to create unique shots.

No longer does the pilot have to worry about the field of view of the camera. With three different modes for Panorama namely Wide-Angle,180° and Sphere, the user can capture wide, large and more detailed images of the scene above and beyond the FoV of the camera lens. These panorama images are automatically stitched together by the Air 2S and the final panoramic image is ready for the pilot in the DJI Fly App.

Mastershots and Quickshots

The pilot can effortlessly take the finest cinematic images with MasterShots. In only one tap, the DJI Air 2S can perform ten separate cinematic aerial maneuvers. All the pilot has to do is identify the subject on the screen, and the drone will hold it in the center of the frame for the duration of the clip. The machine automatically produces a brief cinematic video after the shot is done. Portrait, Proximity, and Landscape are the three styles of MasterShots.

FocusTrack makes it simple to follow or circle your subject. The three different modes under FocusTrack are Spotlight 2.0, Active Track 4.0, and Point of Interest 3.0, which allow pilots automate shoots to create consistent, seamless, and steady video that would otherwise need a team of specialists.

Spotlight 2.0: The drone keeps the subject centered in the frame as the pilot flies around or takes close-up shots. Digital zoom is available to shoot from a distance for safety.

ActiveTrack 4.0: Avoid obstacles while following the subject smoothly keeping the subject in the frame at all times. Even when the subject is lost due to an obstacle, the pilot can easily resume tracking during flight.

Point of Interest 3.0: The drone will track a perfect circle at a radius and altitude set by the pilot. The pilot can easily change the direction of rotation through the app while in flight. The subject is centered in the frame through the entire flight.

The DJI Air 2S is equipped with Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems (APAS 4.0), which allows it to detect and avoid obstacles in four directions: above and below the drone, as well as forward and backward. The Air 2S uses APAS 4.0 algorithms to track and avoid obstacles in very complicated conditions at high speeds.

The DJI Air 2S comes with the improved DJI OcuSync 3.0 transmission system, much like the DJI FPV drone. The O3 Transmission System can transmit video at 1080p over a distance of up to 12 kilometers with reduced latency. The O3 system, which has a Dual Frequency 2.4/5.8GHz system with four antennae, offers a stable, clear, and crisp video feed even in the most difficult conditions. Similar to the Mavic Air 2, the Air 2S Remote controller has a sleek, ergonomic configuration that places the monitor system at the top of the phone.
